Current Driving Positions

In a busy company like Go Bus, great employment opportunities are nearly always available and therefore we generally want to talk to experienced drivers with a P Endorsement  or anyone looking for part time employment.

Part Time Employment as a School Bus Driver

Part time employment as a school bus driver generally involves being available between the hours of 7.30am - 9.00am and then again 2.45pm - 4.30pm each day of the school term. The right applicant would be required to undergo some driver training and have a good rapport with students. Casual On-call drivers are required to fill in when the regular driver is on holiday or sick. A casual on-call driver may also be required to work outside normal hours and weekends.

Full Time Employment as an Urban Bus Driver

We have current full time roles available for Urban driving in Hamilton, Napier, Hastings and Tauranga.

Getting a P Endorsement Licence

If the above positions of employment are of interest to you and you do not have a P Endorsement Drivers Licence, assistance may be available to obtain this.

After School and School Holiday Employment

From time to time Go Bus requires additional assistance in our workshops.

Duties involve: 

• Cleaning Buses and painting wheels 
• Removing and preparing seats for upholstery 
•  Sanding vehicles in preparation for painting 
• Running errands (drivers license required)
